A Senior Marketing Manager is required to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering company in Central Cambridge.

The role involves:

Study market conditions, competitors’ activities and consumer behaviour to identify market trends and help define a marketing & corporate strategy. Primarily, you will be responsible for supporting the development of marketing plans that differentiate our strategies based on consumer, message, and business partners.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  •  Collect market info from industry contacts / analysts / public media and other sources
  •  Help define marketing & corporate strategy
  •  Draft news releases
  •  Attend and represent at all types of events
  • Produce and give presentations around the world
  • Collate information from global sources and translate that into what it means
  • Plan, develop, deploy, maintain, monitor, expand, analyse and optimize marketing campaigns
  • Proactively seek, identify and evaluate innovative opportunities for campaign growth and improvement
  • Continually strive for both higher volumes and margins with ongoing optimisation for every customer collaboration
  • Perform analyses such as industry and competitive reviews, consumer needs assessments, gap analyses, unique selling proposition development, market sizing, and business cases
  • Lead strategic brainstorm sessions, campaign development, creative brief development and directing creative execution to bring ideas to life
  • Contribute to consumer insight strategies regarding product development, and all other areas critical to the success of programme management
  • Collaborate actively with marketing, engineers and the exec team to drive growth and optimisation
  • Prepare reports that analyse historical marketing data to identify trends for future campaigns
  • Takes the initiative in suggesting and developing improvements to marketing strategies and procedures
